What Makes Shepherd Custom Homes Special?

At Shepherd Custom Homes, we strive to make every vision the client has to become reality.  The owners, Kenneth and Ginger Shepherd, work in collaboration building a beautiful house for every client.  They take pride and not being a volume builder, when you build with Shepherd Custom Homes, you communicate directly with us and no one else.  Kenneth and Ginger are on site daily talking to the contractors to provide the best care to each home taking pride in every aspect of construction focusing on the details.   Shepherd Custom Homes uses experienced licensed contractors, top-of-the-line materials and products from reputable vendors that create a house that will stand the test of time.  Kenneth runs day to day construction operations while Ginger helps clients pick every aspect of design from colors, to flooring, tile and fixtures for the home.  

Prior to building homes, Kenneth received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Tarleton State University while working for a builder learning the trade along with contracting with banks in doing draw inspections.  After college he worked in the oil and gas field for many years. He is a natural leader and effective communicator, and loves his family and community. Ginger earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Midwestern State University and worked many years in healthcare.  She is also a licensed Realtor.  Together both are involved on various boards, donating their time and money to many organizations in the community.
